Overview

In 2022, 3Commas was the leading platform for automated crypto trading, having experienced rapid growth over the previous year. However, we had reached the limit of our feature set and began to see a notable decline in users, influenced in part by market conditions.

To maintain our market advantage, we needed to make quick moves, focusing on user experience optimization and also stabilizing our position in a shifting crypto landscape.

Challenge

As the product rapidly grew, we got trading experience where people were adding features without fully understanding what our users actually needed.

ISSUE #1
Broken navigation hierarchy
Irrelevant content directly impacts the C1 metric.

Users were getting frustrated every time they: Create, Edit and manage any bot they have.

By clicking "DCA bots", you were getting right into the 3rd tab of the section.


ISSUE #2
Irrelevant content priority
For some reason the main content was prioritized to show Deals and secondary content, that was opposite that people wanted to have.
This was the main starting screen of the DCA section
